Watched the Salt Path the other night. For those who don't know it is about a couple who lose their home and decide to walk the South West coastal path (finding themselves on the way naturally).

Noticed one shot had a clear albeit brief view of the very appropriate "Walk of Life" E9 6c on Dyers Look out.

Anyone else spotted routes on film? Especially ones that fit the film title

Climbing films about said routes don't count

As per my post yesterday - 28 years later has plenty.(Fat fingers meant I messed up the title)

missed that one. Which routes did you spot and where?

In reply to Duncan Bourne:

Maybe not routes as such, but Hitchcock's 'Thirty nine steps' has some nice views of Glencoe filmed before the road was built

Crag Lough Cheddar Gorge North/ Cheddar Gorge South feature. I'm sure some of it was filmed at  Simonside too.

I spotted it also in the cinema and excitedly said "Hey that's the walk of life!" Possibly a bit too loud haha.

There's a scene in Schlesinger's "Yanks" where the beautiful Lisa Eichorn stands on the Okey Dokey prow at Nont Sarah's gazing across the valley ( though I think I've read somewhere that it was considered precarious enough for a stunt double to be brought in)

The new Power of the Rings (or whatever the new LOTR Amazon series is called) had Harrison's rocks. Pretty sure I remember visiting about the time it was being filmed.

There have been several films made at Gordale Scar but I don't recall the names.

Keira Knightley in Pride & Prejudice looks rightly proud after soloing Overhanging Wall at Stanage Plantation in a big dress.

That would explain the tourists I met when topping out at Stanage a few weeks ago who were asking where they could find "Keira Knightley's rock". I wasn't able to help them.

Don't think Astral Highway is visible.

lots of Ken Russell shot in Borrowdale slate quarries, strange pagan/Nordic rituals

In reply to Duncan Bourne:

Still on the SW coast path, Winspit Quarry has been used for Doctor Who, Blake’s 7 and a Star Wars prequel…so there must be at least a couple of routes on view…

Maybe they were after celebrity crag swag.
