With thoroughly un-cool geeky music choices!
 Blue Straggler 19 Jul 2009
In reply to Marc C:

Was he in character?
 Steve Perry 19 Jul 2009
In reply to Blue Straggler: What songs did he request?
 Sam_in_Leeds 19 Jul 2009
In reply to Steve Perry:

Mmm Mmm Mmm by Crash Test Dummies
Walking on Sunshine - Katrina and the Waves
Creep - Radiohead

I gave up after that, he just seemed a little well, boring?

He sounds like he's had a nice middle-class, public school educated upbringing. A nice yet slighly boring chap!
 Steve Perry 19 Jul 2009
In reply to Sam_in_Leeds: I'll give him Radiohead but Crash Test Dummies..Sh*te choice.

See what your saying about the public school stuff but I like him anyway, he's funny.
 Mike Peacock 19 Jul 2009
In reply to Steve Perry: Yeah but Creep? All the brilliant stuff he could have picked by them and he settles on their worst middle-of-the-road rock single.

In reply to Steve Perry:

Yeh he is funny, although I thought Peep Show was his finest hour, certainly not "Mitchell and Webb Look" tho

In reply to Steve Perry:

The idea is not to pick the "best" song, whatever that is. It's to pick the song that means the most to you or represent some event or people in your life, if you'd listened to it you'd know why he chose them.

It was interesting, but he seemed sad and extremely repressed, it's a shame he won't be able to enjoy being famous!

In reply to Steve Perry: Plus 'Stranger on the Shore' by Acker Bilk and 'Spanish Flea' by Herb Alpert (!) - ending with a bit of 'English' in the form of Elgar's cello concerto
 Blue Straggler 19 Jul 2009
In reply to Marc C:

Have you heard his "Honky Rap" from the Mitchell and Webb radio show (maybe they did it on telly too?)
 Marc C 19 Jul 2009
In reply to Blue Straggler: No - to be honest, I'm not familiar with any 'new' comedy - Rising Damp was my last 'must watch' series
KoiLisa 20 Jul 2009
In reply to idiotproof (Buxton MC): Liked what he said about being 'tweed on the inside'.
 Paz 21 Jul 2009
In reply to idiotproof (Buxton MC):

Crap I missed it.
