Balsom. Last performance at the age of 46 years old, at the last night of the proms.

I'm a season ticket holder, so can go to this performance. This news has cemented the idea that I should go this year. 

I saw her with the Philharmonia in Leicester a few years ago, and she was bloody brilliant. One of my most memorable concert attendances.

Might be an idea to ask the mods to let you add the surname to your thread title. There used to be a frequent poster on here called Alison who was extremely good value and also had had a couple of serious health issues which she shared on here. When I saw your thread I immediately thought it was bad news about her.
