This adaption of a Stephen King short story about a cursed clockwork monkey is out tomorrow. It appeals because there's something compelling when the silly meets the macabre, I just hope it's not very gruesome!
Saw it last night! Yes it was kind of morbid but it was 100% a King story the way it draws you in. As you say the violence was over the top and absurd, in other words unrealistic which made it bizarrely more viewable if of a sensitive nature imo.
