I am a big fan of Asian/European/Australasian horror films.

I was wondering if anyone could recommend any films from other parts of the world, such as India, south America, and Africa?

I am into supernatural, spooky, and creature feature type stuff. Can't stand hacker, slacker, torture porn, sicko, mularkey.

And preferably available on dvd

Any recommendations?

Also films in other genres from those continents?

Dust Devil, a South African film mostly set in Namibia. American leads and UK production company, though. I think it is very atmospheric.

Beyond that, I don't think I know of any. But don't forget that Guillermo del Toro is Mexican (I think a lot of people think he's Spanish). So "Cronos" might fit the bill. I've not yet seen it though.
