Planning a 2009 trip to the deep south

Whens the best time to go? Thinking Late Feb through til mid April, that sound like a suitable time for Arapiles+Blue Mountains?

Cheers

In reply to david morse:

If you only go those places, you will miss the best climbing.

Get to the Grampians!

In reply to david morse:

late summer to autumn is a perfect time of year. I found Araps in March, warm but there are so many shade options it isn't a problem. Also an excellent time of year for the Bluies. As above don't miss out the Gramps.

The weather in SA and Victoria at the min is just like April in the UK - cold and showery.

In reply to david morse: Late-Feb to April is an excellent time for down this way (I'm in Victoria.) As Adam has said, the Gramps is a must as well as Arapiles while you're in this neck of the woods, they are within sight of each other after all!
Enjoy!
