One of the first sunny Saturdays of the year - and I've been requested to find "a bolted limestone crag in a beautiful spot that gets the sun with wild swimming and a good pub nearby". So, no problems there then...

It will be a mixed ability group, so mostly routes in the 6's are what I'm after.

SO - has anyone got suggestions of which mythical crag this could be?!

Loup Scar. Although the grades are maybe not what you are after!

Mmmm.... the grades won't work for us at Loup Scar, or at Malham to be honest. Although there's lots of easy trad at Malham...

The easy sports stuff I can find only really seems to be at Trow Gill, Giggleswick, and Castleberg. None of these seem to fit the idyllic description demanded of me!

How about High Stony Bank? No swimming but you could wander down to Gordale Scar for a paddle.

Dib Scar - pretty varied routes there, close to the Wharfe. In fact, there's a few nice little limstone galleries round there in Bastow Wood and you can swim in the river. Up toward Conistone is a series of small waterfalls which are quite lpeasant - used to swim and paddle aroud there myself.

Pretty sure Rockfax Limestone has Dib Scar in
