Hi, I'm planning a trip down to Stanage this summer holiday with a mate. However because we are both 17, the North Lee's campsite won't let us stay unsupervised and the hostel at heatherstage is too expensive for us.
Is there anywhere else or somewhere it is acceptable to wild camp?
In reply to anomm: Wild camp in Robin Hoods Cave. I wouldn't bother lighting a fire as that almost always guarantees a visit by the Park Ranger? Game Keeper? Beardy chap. Nice bloke if your polite to him.
In reply to Cwallace: cheers, never been to stanage so don't actually know where that is - any google maps reference?
also just phone the hostel and that's fully booked (once again because we're under 18 we would have to have a seperate room so it makes things complicated)
