Hi everyone!

I’m Herman, a climber from Chile. I’ll be traveling around Europe from June to August, mainly for sport climbing. Before that, I’ll have spent the whole month of May climbing in Margalef and Siurana, Spain, so I’ll be already warmed up and psyched!

I’m currently climbing in the 7a to 7b range (projecting a bit harder), and I’m looking for good-quality sport routes in that level. The countries I’m most interested in visiting are Italy, France, Germany, Austria, and Portugal — but I’m totally open to suggestions! If you know of cool crags with good climbing, fun vibes, and that aren’t too expensive, I’d love to hear about them.

I’m also keen to meet other climbers along the way — whether for a session or to join for a longer stretch of the trip. I’d really appreciate any beta, destination ideas, or even a climbing partner for part of the summer.

Feel free to reach out or connect with me on Instagram: @hermankahlerq

Hope to see some of you out there!

Cheers,

Herman

Céüse would be a good one for that time of year. A lot of places will be really starting to heat up by then. If you made your way to the town of Gap you'd easily find a lift up to the campsite from the climbing shop or decathlon.

Amazing Climbing. Camping is about 9 Euros per night.

It is one of the most social campsites that I've been to. Unless you get up early to climb in the steep sector, you don't set off to the crag until lunch time which means everyone is chilling in the campsite. I've met many friends from the mornings there.

I'd just spend the whole summer there...
