Never visited Ham Hill Quarry but desperate to get away from Portland. Any advice as to whether it will be dry enough (too vegetated?) for a visit tomorrow? Also how easy is it to gain access for rigging top ropes?
Hi John - I last visited in the mid-90s. It was easy to set up top-ropes if the earth above the walls was dry. It'll be sketchy if it's wet though. Plus your gear will get filthy.
