Planning a trip to Isle of Arran staying near Lochranza later this year with family and a couple of friends. Looking for suggestions of places to run an abseil as well as a couple of easy low grade climbs for the kids.

You could also abseil at the blue rocks at Sannox, https://www.ukclimbing.com/logbook/crags/conglomerate_crag-11816/#maps
There's also various boulders around Sannox.
