Hi all,

Does anyone have any experience finding partners in kalymnos at the end of october?

I'm currently thinking of either spending money on quickdraws and a 70m rope, or probably the same money on a week long 'performance' coaching course, paying for guide package etc and joining a group.

What would your advice be? Ive been climbing about 2 years - mostly indoors but outdoor experience in Thailand and Italy...including a previous week long 'coaching holiday' sport climbing leads up to 6a/b. Confident belaying and seconding...

When do people begin to go climbing completely independently? and if i am experienced enough to arrive and find partners willing to climb. Currently leading 6a/b.

Am i better off just chancing it and going to Kalymnos solo end of october - i could potentially be there for 2 weeks? or spend anywhere in the region of EU400 - EU600 for a group thingy for just a week.

Any advice or similar experience much appreciated.
