Hi,

As a last minute decision, my old man will be joining me in the Llanberis Pass on Saturday evening. I'll be climbing on the Saturday and meeting up with him in the evening- our plan is to camp on Nant Peris, few beers in the Vaynol arms and then hit Lliwedd on Sunday.

Now, I've tried ringing the sites but can get no answer and I'll be without signal for a while soon. Do I need to book? I imagine we'll be fine just turning up, one of the sites will have space? even on a nice weekend.

Has anyone had any issues before?

I've always just turned and never had issues even when busy, I'm sure you'll be fine.

I was there last weekend and there were only about 10 tents in the smaller campsite. I've never had a problem just turning up there. I think there were more people camping by the cromlech parking to be honest.
