Hi all,

I've got a couple of weeks off work from next week and need some sunshine, so I'm thinking of trying to book a late deal somewhere for a week. But as I'm sure you all know a holiday without climbing is a wasted holiday.

I'm probably going to have to go alone or with a girl who doesn't climb, so I'm really looking for somewhere i/we can chill out on the beach and there are some rocks to keep me entertained. I don't want to spend a load, but apart from a probability of sunshine i have no other specifications.

Your ideas would be appreciated.

In reply to joshen: cabo de gato is great but it not exactly sunbathing weather in spain.You may have to go further a field. south africa?

Bottom Bay, Barbados. Sun, white sand, palm trees and a huge curve of rock

Wow, Virgin Gorda looks amazing! Definitely bear it in mind for future. Having done a little more research it looks like perhaps Lanzarote, Tunisia or Malta. are the only cheapish places with beachside rocks and reasonable weather
