Just wondering what its like inside? Not being an avid boulderer I’ve only been up there to climb routes and not actually set foot inside. Is it quite flat? I was over there today with my boy and having previously discretely camped on the rim before with him, was wondering if it might be possible, once we are allowed to stay away from home, to spend a night up there, watching the sunset? Might be awful, but might not?

Fairly standard limestone cave, you could definitely spend a night there but not a 5* bivi. Plenty of goat poo. Probably want to check the access calendar before staying there.

Maybe I should go take a look. And yes, understand well the access issue...

Me and a couple of mates bivied there back in the 70's, in preparation for a trip to the Alps. It was ok, can't remember any sheep poo then, although it was surprisingly noisy, there seemed to be someone in a loud sports car or motorbike going past every ten minutes.

Thats a bloody good point, especially because the boy racers seem to dominate there these days...
