A bit of a cryptic title, but asking about trains in Switzerland.
Anyone know if it's cheaper to buy tickets online or are they the same price at the station? Going from Zurich to Pontresina so only about 3.5 hours each way. Much saving on a return ticket??? Do they get full?

In reply to Derry:
Same price internet or at station

price of return = price of 2 singles

Switzerland is very straightforward

When I lived in Switzerland (two years ago now - things might have changed) that wasn't the case. They had just introduced a system where you could buy cheaper tickets in advance, though only on major intercity routes.

The ticket part of the SBB (swiss trains) website isn't working for me, but I suggest you have a look at the supersaver tab under 'travelcards and tickets' when it's working again. (There is an english version of the website)
