The easiest approach is across the top of the dam on a path through the bracken then down and across the stream (easy). turn left and walk about 50m upstream and scramble up through the trees. Altermatively you can just walk down the field from Pensioner's buttress. The routes are short on both sectors so it is easy to combine both cliffs in one visit.
