Hi.
So, the plan was for a Northumberland camping/bouldering holiday in August, but I'm now thinking it would be wise to have a plan B in case the never ending rain, well, never ends.
I'm after:
- doable in a day from calais, I'm thinking Alps, maybe pyrenees.
-high enough for it to be cool enough to actually boulder, and not melt. Maybe some shade.
- Easy access and flat areas to make a safe base camp. We have a 1 year old and a 5 year old.
- Range of grades to go at (low 6s to high 7s)
Ideas so far are Ailefroide and Targassonne.
Thanks!
