There were one or two queries last week about the Albigna cable car operation. The company is to close the service down on Sept 29 for winter maintenance.

In reply to potted shrimp: Further to earlier message, the maintenance will be completed quickly and the winter schedule will operate as follows:

1 Oct-31 May. Operation only with prior notification.
One-way tickets only. Minimum charge of SFr48 or 4 people
at SFr. Each additional person pays SFr12.

The cablecar will operate Mon-Fri only.
Morning 0700-1130h
Afternoon 1315-1645h
