We are looking for wet weather alternatives for an alps trip next week due to the rainy weather, looking further south where the weather looks better. Any recommendations for easy multipitch venues in S France? We're looking at Calanques already - any others?

I like easy (up to 5c) multipitch, happiest in alpine like ridges and other scrambly terrain, so particularly keen on those types of routes.

there are some long, relatively easy routes on Mont St Victoire (close to Aix en Provence) but not sure how hot its likely to be in mid June (I've only climbed there in April)

We got the first edition of this topoguide in 2009, and found it really useful - sounds like the current edition would be useful for you, and I guess it's likely to be in local shops -

I particularly like the bit in the description about easy access, axe & crampons not needed, light sac!

Cheers, Andy

Ailefroide?  Dolomites?  Ariege/dent d'orlu?  Pyrennees?  How far do you want to go?
