In reply to echo34: I've held back on replying as I don't have that much experience of Hurrungane in May, but from other parts of Norway I'd potentially expect anything from glorious sunshine to snow. What I would be concerned by is that while May is usually very consistent good weather April has been very good so far , with little rain, so I'm expecting the summer deluge to start at some point.
Snowline is receding quite fast at the moment further south, but the tops of higher mountains are still carrying plenty of snow. https://turtagro.no/webkamera/
