The seller has now marked this as sold
Price: £40.00

I'm finally accepted that I've retired from climbing-you can see from my logbook its been a while. After developing psoriasis about 5 years ago, I haven't been able to touch chalk without growing scales and despite many attempts at getting back, my skin isn't up to it. I'm therefore selling all of kit I have, that's in decent condition.

60m Mammut Dynamic Rope, good condition but chalky and dusty as you'd expect. I'm not sure on the width of rope, I would guess something like 9.5. I can't see any issues with the sheath, it's been cared for well and stored next to those incandescent dehumidifiers. £40

£10 postage and I'll send tracked, or we can arrange meeting if in the Newcastle upon Tyne area-if you're local you're of course free to look over the rope in as much detail as you'd like too.

Can send additional photos if requested. Open to offers. Please check my other posts, happy to combine postage, do discounts etc.

Hi Dale,

I could be interested in both your ropes as I want to pick up some cost-effective gear to try the kids out on top-rope before I splash on a load of new gear. It sounds like you've had them in storage for a few years but do you know when they were originally purchased?

Thanks,

Matt

Hi Matt,

I would guesstimate that the green/60m one was bought early-mid 2017 based on the pictures of trips in my phone. The red/40m was probably 2019 as I bought it prepping for a trip abroad, and then it didn't see that much use before lockdown stopped us indoor climbing.

Then yes, (sadly) they've been in storage since about 2020 when this skin problem started!

I'll pop this in an email as well so I'll get notifications when you reply.

Cheers
