I am looking for some long lasting carabiners for the bolt end of my quickdraws. I'm not bothered about weight minimisation within reason. These are for my working and redpoint set of draws so will likely get some hammer.

Anyone got any ideas?

I have a mixture of DMM Aeros & Petzl Djinns. Both keylock, pretty beefy, not super expensive & from top manufacturers.

Other non-DMM ones that I bought at the same time as the Aeros lost their nice smooth gate action rather quickly and I phased them out of my everyday rack; the DMMs seem likely to keep going forever.

I have DMM Alpha sport pro and clip on Petzl express extenders, pretty meaty! Pretty much everyone who has used them have commented on how reassuringly rugged the set up feels.

Thanks for all your suggestions. I had narrowed it down to DMM and Petzl but I'll have a look at the edelrids as well.

The DMM alpha sports are great and mine have stood up to lots of abuse and are still going strong.
