I need  sone new  lite weight gtx walking boots that will occasionally be used with micro spikes and very occasionally with a flexible crampon . I also need sone new crampons that will fit my ski touring boots . Makes sense to get one pair of crampons  that will also work with the new walking boots . I wonder if anybody has used the sportiva boots with any of the several petzl offerings   , all of which fit my touring boots well .

edit : petzl Irvis  or leopard 

I'm a big fan of the Aequilibrium boots and I find they fit perfectly with the Petzl Vasaks

I’d get Vasak over Irvis unless you’ve got very small feet. 
 

I’d also be very wary of wearing string crampon on anything other than ski boots.
