Depends on your leg length. Might be better in medium or long.

I am not to keen on the apex material as it has none of the benefits of shoftshells and all the disadvantages .I would recommend marmmot pants if you can get apair . combine breatahbilty and also are able to keep the moisture off the material .But if they are cheap then they are trousers afterall

looks like a resonable softshell pant.

dunno what weight it is tho.

apex is cool. not sholer or powershield perhaps but a lot better and more comfertable than any gore tosh.

I've just realised I've actually got a pair of these! Not used them for a bit, as I only use them in the cold weather. Very warm and windproof, and so far seem very abrasion resistant. Quite stretchy as well.
Not particularly quick drying, and very little resistance to water at all.
They're a nice, comfy winter pant, but all these wonder fabric claims are a bit dubious. I got mine in a sale and I like them, but wouldn't pay full price.
