I have a few small holes in my eurohike tent which comes with a repair kit, but no instructions. The repair kit contains:

Thick 5cm x 8cm patches
Larger outer sheet material
Seam Sealer
Various pole bits

Has anyone used one of these kits before? any advice would be useful. Am still trying to work out if the thick smaller patches are iron on or not.

In reply to kit perry: none of the patches will be iron on, all glue on, the patches should match parts of the tent, i.e. fly sheet, ground sheet,

IMO, clean the area on the inside of the hole, cover in glue, some glues work better if you apply some to both the tent and the patch, let it 2go off2 a bit, stick it togehter and apply pressure until dry, stack of books works fine,

Patches should have a shiny side and a dull side, the shiny is the waterproof coating on the fabric, glue this side to the tent
