Hello all. 

Please recommend me some very soft shoes. I had the old 5.10 dragons with the Hf rubber. Can't find a pair on ebay in my size. Might get the newer adidas ones. 

What else is there in a similar vein?

Unparallel do some good slippers if you don't need them for heel hooks.

They are in similar vein to the old mocs that 5.10 did and fit the same imho.

Up Dual or Up Mocc they also do the Vim which is a bit more aggressive for a slipper.

Unparallel sirius is basically based on the dragons.

Scarpa Veloce are very soft. Also - but I've not had a pair - aren't the Dragos supposed to be very soft?

I have had both so might be able to help here.

The Veloce is the softest shoe I have ever worn or seen. 

The Drago is slightly more structured and more downturned, which makes it more useful (in my opinion) but is still a soft shoe. I can't remember whether I found the XS2 rubber less sticky than the Veloce. Both rubbers are excellent on plastic, I find 5.10 c4 better outside if that helps but have never tried the HF.

I only tried on the Dragon briefly but found it actually somewhat supportive, I would say the Drago would be more similar (and more capable) than the Veloce. 

What size are you looking for?

I have some in UK 7.5 that I'd sell.

Totally forgot about the Scarpa Voloce.

If that's really 7a, they clearly are very good shoes for that sort of thing! 

I've tried that problem many times over the past umpteen years .... and got absolutely nowhere. Time to try it in the Veloces methinks!😁
