To the UKC hive mind!
I'm currently contemplating renewing my entire set of wires, to refresh them. The issue I have is that I've replaced the odd damaged wire over the years and noticed that my older wild-wires (non anodised/coloured) are smaller than the new coloured wires, particularly noticeable in sizes 2-4, where for example a new 3 doesn't fit but the older wire slots in perfectly. I'm wondering if this is because the older wires have just worn down slightly from being placed & removed hundreds of times?
Has anyone else experienced this? and found a solution to fill the, in between sizes?
