A pleasant watch.

My lad has been getting into the geoguesser videos lately with his straight line challenges. Fun in a daft way if you like contrived challenges.

Because of the above, the following came up on YouTube as well,  a pleasant, chilled walk across the countryside. A welcome change from the current news etc

Just don't read all the comments.

Or as one of my mates says, 'never read the bottom half of the Internet'.

Seen some of her videos before. Definitely qualifies as wild camping

Have you seen the one where the guy walks across Wales in a DEAD STRAIGHT LINE!

It's brilliant. I'll see if I can find it.

Probably Geoguesser but there's a couple of others doing straight line challenges.

The north of England one was funny too.

I might be missing something but if you can immediately pull out a phone with OS maps, what was the point of the blindfold?

If you ignore the set up, which is a bit of nonsense, the remainder shows the opposite viewpoint so often portrayed in the media.

Open countryside (not overcrowded), helpful generous people (not all people are murderers rapists etc) peace and quiet can be found in the middle of the country (except for the killer cows) and none of it being "extreme" or "survival".

Having now watched it all I agree it brings a sense of perspective to 'adventure'. Sometimes it's easier being out on the high hills (having watched some of her other videos). I like how it highlights the state of many rights of way with little 'voluntary' maintenance being done (Landowners: its not voluntary!) or even blocking or routes (increasingly problematic near me). And, as you say, people are generally nice whether they live in the country or the towns. Sad incident with the sexual harassment though. Funny (in the not funny sense) how we (she) brush(es) it off as bad behaviour.

As walks go though I can think of nicer routes.
