Anyone able to give any detail? Where does the snow line sit and if the snow is of any depth?
Thinking of heading up on Saturday, maybe A'Chrois, (would prefer Sunday but can't do that) and the wind is forecast at 30-40mph. However don't quite fancy my route with that wind if it will involve knee deep snow.
Afraid not, but in the absence of any other replies I can tell you (from my window) that the cloudbase on loch lomond is fluctuating from 200-400m and I haven't seen any snow below cloud level. Not sure how that extrapolates to quantities higher up, but might be vaguely useful information for you.
Went up the Cobbler on tuesday and had snow from 450m
In places it had drifted to be waist deep, heading up to great gully I was post holing all over the place.
