Hi - looking to get a walking/scrambling guide for Costa Blanca area. A couple of obvious options -
1) Walking On The Costa Blanca - 50 mountain walks and scrambles, by Terry Fletcher (2015).
2) The 2 volume Costa Blanca walks (east and west) by Bob Stansfield (2004?).

Can anyone comment on which one is best to get - maybe the older book(s) are becoming out of date? Or may be being 2 volumes would cover more details. Not much difference in cost (if buyimg both volumes of the older guide)

Cheers
Steve

Terry's book has updates and revisions on line. In fact he's over there now re checking some of his routes.

Terry's book is excellent and will give you loads of really good days out. This one has a few additional ridge scrambles as well as some different walking/running routes: https://www.cicerone.co.uk/costa-blanca-mountain-adventures?srsltid=AfmBOor...

In a couple of years time there should be a revised edition of the Costa Blanca walking and scrambling guidebook and this will have links to gpx files as well as updated mapping.

I have Terry Fletcher's book and Mark Eddy's. Both are excellent and well worth buying.
