Free online OS mapping with measuring tool

Hi
anyone no of a site that does Free online OS mapping with measuring tool so that I can measure a walk. Bing has OS maps but I cannot seem to find a measuring tool.

Ordnance Survey Get-a-map lets you do that. You need to register but its still free. you can pay for a premium version that has more bells and whistles but the basic seems fine for route planning.

Register and you get 1:25k OS instead of open source.

Uses Bing for the maps, so OS 1:25K available.
