Does anyone have a reliable* long-range forecast showing snow in the Lakes before I have to ruefully stash my axe in the cupboard? We had a decent fall in mid-April two years ago, even an early May covering in 2021. This year, the Met Office app is not looking promising, but maybe you've seen a more optimistic source?
*i.e not one of those perennial "Exact date five counties to be hit by 7cm" headlines beloved of the local news websites
