One of the overlooked hills in the Brecon Beacons is Mynydd Troed, rising to 609m and standing apart from the main body of the Black Mountains. The name directly translates to 'Foot Mountain' because of the hill's distinctive appearance. This walk begins just out of the village of Waun Fach, and follows the ridge of the Mynydd Troed, with spectacular views over Llangorse Lake. As this isn't a well-known hill, you'll be sure to get some peace and quiet up there, and possibly not even see another walker!
