Hi - does anyone know if there are any nearby alternatives to the small Chapel Bridge parking please?

Planning to take some friends to do the Newlands round on a Saturday at the end of July and it’d be good to know if there’s any other carparks (such as farmer’s fields) open there in summer?

Pretty sure you can park just up the hill at the farm that has a cafe, about 300m from the bridge. There are a couple of spaces by the church, but there are small signs down in the grass that tell you they are those are for church visitors I think.

Yup- as above, little town farm have paid for parking, not sure the rate but if there is no space at the bottom of the hill it’s the nearest alternative. Another would be at the old stair village hall parking at the other end of the road, which would extend your walk a little.

There's that mini quarry by the Purple House, as was (Rigg Beck).

Thanks all, very helpful. Reckon i’ll ring the cafe/gueshouse nearer the time to make sure that’s still an option.
