A long shot but my wife and I hiked the alta via 1 north to south in June this year, 2024, and met a few people on it, one was an English guy called Rob, and another was an American called Doug. Douglas has my contact details but not Rob's. Anyway if Rob reads this forum, Doug wants to get in touch, he's planning on doing the TMB this year.
