I’ve been considering a trip to the Tatras for a while and have a free block of leave early May, from what I can see there seems to be some conflicting information as to whether May is a good time to visit the Tatra mountains for some hiking. Some sites say all the trails are closed, I assumed this was just “closed” as in covered in snow etc.
has anyone been in early May? If so any recommendations for areas and routes? (Competent in winter conditions etc, just looking to spend an enjoyable week in the mountains)
