Few Scottish scrambles are more enjoyable than the Forcan Ridge. An airy and aesthetic route with short-lived and often avoidable difficulties, but great fun if you go looking for it, this is perhaps the archetypal grade 2 ridge scramble. The hands-on stage completed and The Saddle's Munro summit bagged, many seem to make a beeline for home; but with a bit more time to play with it's worth extending the day into a logical two-Munro round with neighbouring Sgurr na Sgine, to a dramatic finish on the pointy peak of Faochag.
