I'm going walking in Torridon in a few weeks, and haven't found a good pocket guide.  My old copy of Barton's "Walking in Torridon" treats the interesting ridge walks/scrambles (Am Fasarinen, Horns of Alligan) as beyond the average walker and is generally pitched rather low.  Is there a good guidebook which is sensible about these routes, and is also something to carry on the hill?  (I know, I'm old-fashioned, and people use phones and WalkHighlands...   but I still like hard copy.)

In reply to SteveC:

Have you got the Ralph Storer books ('100 Best Routes', and so on)? If not, I recommend them. They cover a lot more than Torridon of course.

In reply to SteveC:

If you insist on a paper book rather than the UKH routes...

...Then this Cicerone guide is probably the one you want: https://www.cicerone.co.uk/walking-in-torridon-fisherfield-fannichs-and-an-...
