Want to star in some epic drone footage on Beinn a’Ghlo in the Cairngorms?

We're looking for walkers to star in a Mend Our Mountains drone shoot this Friday.

Contact jonc@thebmc.co.uk if you can make it.

This is the sort of video that you could star in: https://www.facebook.com/BritishMountaineeringCouncil/videos/10156829070585...

Could someone from Mountaineering Scotland explain why the BMC are doing their filming here? Ben Vane and Beinn a Ghlo certainly have erosion problems caused by walkers. Isn't it a problem for the Scottish organisation to publicise and deal with?

Hi Ian

This is a shoot for the Mend Our Mountains campaign, specifically the Beinn a’Ghlo project: http://mendmountains.thebmc.co.uk/portfolio-item/cairngorms/

Mountaineering Scotland are indeed a key partner in this specific project but Mend Our Mountains is a UK wide campaign, coordinated by the BMC with projects across 15 national parks.

There was an article about the Beinn a’Ghlo project in the last issue of Scottish Mountaineer (the MCofS mag).

Thanks, found it. Not really much the wiser, though.
