To the person(s) who emptied the contents of their, presumably broken, thermos flask onto the ground by the trig point on The Calf, in the Howgills- WHY? Wouldn't it have been much easier, and nicer for future visitors, to just screw the top back on and take it back to Sedbergh to dispose of? We picked up as many of the hundreds of silvered glass shards as we could but there are still many more small pieces. We were saddened.
