Baffling isnt it? I do understand that not everyone is on UKC but if you mention lost gear someone will probably point you in this direction. 

I assume they forgot they wore it climbing and are currently turning the house upside down....

Or possibly they don't have the time to reply?

Hi, just a small hijack, was thinking of visiting wildcat but the crag notes now say....(right at the bottom)

Since mid-afternoon on Tuesday May 2nd, notices banning climbing at this crag have been displayed. Please avoid the crag until the relevant discussions have been undertaken, (by the BMC?)

Nothing new on the RAD and since you've been recently just wondering if you spotted any signs?

It is likely that that is old text that is left over from older access problems, i didn't see any signs.

As you probably already know but am repeating for anyone else who doesn't know:

Access to the crag has changed and the approach details in all guides are out of date. 

To maintain access make sure you follow the new approach and access agreement. Both are details on the BMC's Reginal access database (RAD).
