I am looking at the AMI and thinking of joining. Anyone have any answers to the following?
1. How much is trainee membership?
2. What trade partnerships/companies do they have and what is discount in general?
3. How often do they run workshops?

I can't find this info on the website.
Many thanks
Pip

1 - £80 for full membership last year - dont know about trainee.
2 - That is delicate and confidential.
3 - All year round.
PS - I think it is more than worth every penny for the cheap insurance, gear deals, networking CPD and upholding of professionalk standards. The AMI nws mag is good as well.

Try subscribing for a year and see what you think

It is worth it purely for No. 3, the workshops will give you a great boost prior to assessment, you will always come away either slicker or having learnt something new.

No.2 is a bonus if you are outdoors a lot of the time and getting through your kit.

Thanks for responses.
I thought that the CPD would be the best reason
I am covered by employers insurance so don't think I would benefit from this. Lastly, thought the trade partnerships to be a good benefit. Although I have a trade account with DMM already so was interested to find out who else maybe involved and if discount was worthwhile.
