A POUND!

I've heard of having £5 limits and agree with this idea, but you can't get much for a pound these days.

I was thinking whats the most wildly inappropriate thing that I can get for a quid ?

Could get me into trouble depending on who you get to buy for though.

A large cucumber and a little sachet of oil always goes down well. For a quid you might need to down-grade to a carrot.
