In reply to Greenbanks: Its a test to find out if someone is a smoker. Used quite a lot by insurance companies. Nicotine is only detectable for a short period but the body converts it into continine before excreting it as waste. Testing for continine effectively extends the window for assessing if someone is a smoker or not. This works for about 3-5 days after stopping smoking.
