Good one, Although carrion crows are wary they learn very quickly and there is not much they won't tolerate if food is involved.

I get one or two very close(about six inches from my feet) when I take the dog out early in the morning.

The crows have spotted the dog gets a few bits of dry dog food on the walk and have taken the chance to come close for a few bits too.

They are just about the definition of the the word, 'opportunist'; like all corvids, really great birds.
