After some good (but not too expensive) headphones for my Ipod. Looking around the 20-40 pound range.

Sick of my earplugs!

In reply to chris fox: they are earplug style but... Sennheiser CX300, I love mine! You can change the size - amazing sound, even bass and comfy enough to sleep in, plus quite discrete. Have had them about 18 months and they are still intact (usually I trash earphones in 3 months).

Or...

My housemate swears by these, but they look a bit retro! http://www.amazon.com/Koss-PortaPro-Headphones-with-Case/dp/B00001P4ZH

In reply to chris fox: There's some Sennheiser they sell on Amazon for about £20 - SX300, I think. Miles better than the apple ones.

Thanks guys but i am actually aftersome over the ear headphones, I wear earplugs at work during the day so would like a break from things in my ears!

Hoping for some that have a bit of noise reduction without paying the 150 quid on the Bose ones!

I just love my Sennheiser PX100's. Very light, head-band style (can's stand the in-ear types), very good sound, bloody cheap.

Amazon sells them for about £16: http://tinyurl.com/3a4d8n

I've got some Technics RP-F880 phones. Do Seriously low to seriously high range - 5Hz to 30kHz (most headphones do about 12 -24)

and no colouration, so you get out of them what you put in.
