I was guiding a group of runners at our local reservoir tonight and the goose eggs must have just recently hatched. There were loads of fluffy wee balls waddling around with the geese! 😃 The group thought it was a fabulous run anyway, but the goslings topped it off nicely for them 😊

I like seeing all the wee fluffy and furry baby creatures at this time of year!

I was kayaking with my kids at the weekend, came across a brood of 6 recently hatched ducklings standing on a rock, once we had floated past they jumped in and showed my kids how to ferry glide!

Saw my first young blackbird, looked like it left the nest a few days ago.

I saw Egyptian Geese goslings the other week. They nest high up in trees. When I mean high, I mean real high. This is a  phone photo.  Amazing tree. Zoom in and you can see the geese. The sight of seeing the wee goslings leap out would be mega wow.
I think they were nesting in the thick stumpy branch to the right of the goose.
