at least he hadn't collapsed when you were passing him

I overtook Wiggo when I was cycling in Majorca. Admittedly he was stopped at the side of the road having a piss but I reckon that still counts as a scalp.

I’ve beaten Kwiatkowski on a Strava segment. 

The opposite of my occurrence, I was slowly pottering along on my bike looking at the mosses on a dry stone wall, and a lady jogged past and cheerfully told me it was quicker on one's feet.

Go on then, which famous athlete was it?

I nearly ran over the male British track cycling team (Kenny, Wiggins etc) as they decided to join the roundabout I was already on, at some speed. Not what one expects on a quiet Sunday morning in Derby.

On the upside, you could then at least have been in the position to say "Oh my God, I killed Kenny". 

I once overtook Laura Kenny (both on bikes). Admittedly it was down hill... and five minutes later she blasted past me at phenomenal speed up the subsequent climb! Always impressive to see pros at work. 

I overtook Michael Owen a few years ago whilst out running.

He did have his kids with him on bikes though....

Most did today.

I'm quicker than Alex Dowsett on a local segment. He'll be relieved I decided to concentrate on the nursing instead of pro- cycling.
