In reply to Layla:

There is an ice rink located in Lea Valley which is a good one. There is also an outdoor one at Somerset House, next to Liverpool Street station, in the city, though that might have been taken down by now.

The london Arena is still open and home to the London Knights ice hockey team. I don't know what the public access situation is and anywya, it will be a block of flats in due course anyway.

Eh? These are two different places, surely? Somerset House is on the Strand and the one near Liverpool Street is in Broadgate, isn't it? Both still there AFAIK, though I haven't kept up.

In reply to John Rushby: Try Stretham (spelling) South London, went there with the kids a couple of months ago and it was fine if basic.
